The earliest memory I have of Grandpa and Grandma are the long, seven hour trips to Idaho, usually at Thanksgiving.  Grandpa would always check how tall we were on his buttons first, while giving him a hug, and then we would go check the closet measuring tape. Then at Easter time Grandpa, Grandma and Sheralee would come visit us in Vernal. They always made the long trip for our baby blessings, baptisms, graduations, and mission farewells and homecomings.  Shortly after my mission I went to the temple and saw Grandpa and Grandma as I was walking in, gave them a hug,  and then saw Grandpa again while doing Initiatory.  Now Grandpa and Grandma always make a point of coming to our kids baby blessings.
